These projects are always a treat when they appear and offer us a chance to work on something different, and often very personal to the client.
It may be difficult to define what falls into this category, but really there isn’t much that we won’t consult on repairing. So give us a call and we’ll see what we can do for your historic relic.
Pictured here is an original 1918 WWI oil lantern. the 100+ years had taken its toll, and although remarkably intact it was in dire need of repair. We were able to undo some of the amateur modifications it had undergone and bring it back to a semblance of how it would have left the factory, and once again fully functional. This particular one would go on to be a replica used in re-enactments.
